Hi Jnean,

I have a similar goal, 135lbs. I have 10 lbs to lose. But their so hard. I liked your personal statement, it's so true.

Would you mind being one of my motivators? I have many girl friends trying to lose weight, yet none of them are committed.

And I'm off to the gym ;)

wow 2 more pounds!!! so close to your target, you can do it! if you already lost weight cutting those things out, as for not eating past 8pm, I just force myself to not eat 3 hours before I sleep because my bedtime varies, that should be okay.. I hope..

It has been a six month commitment, but I no longer drink soda, fast foods are once every other week (if that), I get to bed at a decent hour, don't eat after 8pm and make sure to grab something for breakfast. Just with these changes, I have lost 15 pounds.

And now with the hardest part out of the way, I am ready to get down to business and revamp my diet, eat less calories, start exercising and not have to worry so much about my old habits sabotaging my progress.

My first goal is 145. I will reach it.

145 achieved. looking for 135.
